The proportion of all children in severe and significant hardship in NZ has increased from 18% to a staggering 26% since 2000. Make Poverty History Aotearoa is taking part in the global Month of Mobilisation (September 16 - October 17), culminating in the International Day for the Eradication of World Poverty (White Band Day) on October 17. Dave Dobbyn is leading the campaign in New Zealand.
