Stuff reports that Kiwi director Taika Waititi is planning to shoot a feature-length film in the Eastern Bay next year and is looking for local people to star in it. The new movie, The Volcano, is based on his short film Two Cars, One Night (pictured) which was nominated in the best live action short film category at the 2005 Academy Awards. Waititi's debut feature, Eagle vs Shark, was released this year to critical acclaim and commercial success.
