Lloyd Jones makes Man Booker Longlist

It's been a year to remember for writer Lloyd Jones. In June he won the Commonwealth Writers Prize, picked up the Montana Medal for fiction in late July and now has been announced as one of 13 writers included in the Man Booker Longlist for his novel Mister Pip.
Jones is joined on the list by international authors Ian McEwan and AN Wilson.It's been a year to remember for writer Lloyd Jones. Jones is joined on the list by international authors Ian McEwan and AN Wilson.The 2007 shortlist will be announced on Thursday 6 September at a press conference at Man Group's London office. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 16 October at an awards ceremony at Guildhall, London.
Jones is currently living in Berlin as this year's recipient of the Creative New Zealand Berlin Writers' Residency.
