Image: Kotahi Ao filming in South AmericaThe film will explore the intricate natural processes that make this planet function and the detrimental effects created by modernday humans, not just on the planet but on our communities and ourselves. The insatiable hunger for power and wealth and our fear of change. Most importantly, 'Kotahi Ao' will document those that have found solutions, ways to live in harmony with our environment and our neighbours.
Currently we are in Brazil, nearing the end of our journey through South America, but prior to this we have travelled through Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and still to come is Central and North America.
Our project is such that we film what we can, or what hasn ´t already been filmed, and individuals and groups donate the rest. On completion we aim to have a 2 hour feature length documentary that will screened in Film festivals around the world, and also as a DVD community resouce for schools and environmental centers.
This Project is totally self funded and is made with the love and hard work of about ten individuals who feel that it is necessary that a positive environmental film is made.
