Following a string of successful high profile gigs, the star-studded Auckland a cappella choir with the big gospel sound is back in town for a performance that will bring the Concert Chamber alive with soulful rhythms and powerful vocals.Following a string of successful high profile gigs, the star-studded Auckland a cappella choir with the big gospel sound is back in town for a performance that will bring the Concert Chamber alive with soulful rhythms and powerful vocals.Jubilation pulls together 30 of NZ's most outstanding and celebrated vocalists, including Amanda Billing, Fiona Samuel, Jackie Clarke, Jean McAllister, Jennifer Ward-Lealand and group founder and soloist Rick Bryant.
Their repertoire boasts a mix of contemporary and traditional songs, from Ben Harper and Tom Waits to African-American gospel, as well as original material.
The choir is currently in production of their first CD, which is planned for release in 2008.
