"This work is a homage to Dick Frizzell and continues a debate in Maori Art. Far too much of so-called "Contemporary Maori Art" is precious, lacking in humour,
hanky-panky or deceit. The shenanigans of Tiki can befool and keep our Art in Aotearoa living - on the run."
