The Auckland feature New Zealand actors Angela Ayers and Debbie Penney.Inspired by "a hot flush and a bottle of wine", author and producer Jeanie Linders created the hilarious musical as a celebration of the event that launches women into an exciting new phase of their lives.
"Most women know intuitively that every other woman is experiencing memory loss, night sweats, or hot flushes," says Linders. "But when they are in a theatre with hundreds of women - not just a few sympathetic friends - and all are laughing and shouting 'that's me!' then they know what they are experiencing is normal. They aren't crazy. It becomes a sisterhood."

Featuring 22 popular songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s, Menopause The Musical has proved to be a hilarious night out with explosions of laughter coming from the capacity audiences!
