Preceded by the victorious TOWER New Zealand Youth Choir (winner of "Choir of the World" title in Wales 5 years beforehand), this choir takes on Slovenia, Hungary, Russia, and the esteemed Seghizzi International Choral Competition in Gorizia, Italy.

This is a personal, involved look at a communal striving for excellence and the real energy devoted daily to working towards vocal perfection. Karen Grylls, internationally acclaimed conductor, leads the choir members in polishing their Maori and Western repertoire for a range of delighted international audiences in each beautiful country. But as the competition looms, one question stays in the singers' minds: will they be able to make their mark at the highest level of choral performance?

This observational documentary is a privileged insider's view into one of New Zealand's foremost artistic groups and the qualities that have allowed it to achieve top results in a competitive international environment.
