We follow the lives of those forced to work together on a daily basis in a job that none of them likes.

Roger Hall's public servants have won a special place in the hearts of audiences throughout the country, both on stage and television. GLIDE TIME is the play that began Roger's great legacy to our theatre history. Over the last 30 years, hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders have laughed out loud at themselves through comedies such as Taking Off, Spreading Out, Take A Chance On Me, The Book Club and Middle Age Spread.

Like a beige-tinted episode of The Office, we venture back to 1976 - fertile ground ready to be mined for vintage comedy. This is hilarious social history, but not as we (think we) know it.GLIDE TIME is directed by OLIVER DRIVER, whose production of The Goat with Michael Hurst and Jennifer Ward-Lealand played to capacity attendance last year. CRAIG PARKER has returned from London for the production, and he is joined by some of the best theatre makers in New Zealand.
