Gleem is a multimedia light sculpture festival, happening soon on Friday 4th - Saturday 5th March 2005 as part of AK05. A summer outdoor gallery experience with a difference Gleem will be set in the park environment of the Waitakere City Art Centre's Corban Estate grounds.
Gleem is a series of installation works being designed by 20 artists exploring light themes. These will consist of sculptural forms and new media works using light and image sources beamed, bounced and projected in a park nestled between river, trees and the historic commercial buildings of Corban Estate ten minutes from central Auckland in Henderson. Many of the works will incorporate a sound design element.

The Saturday & Sunday will feature a program of music and short film screenings. On site vendors will supply food and beverages and there will be a sit-down cafe.
This is a project that aims to bring new and innovative art to the wider community and is free to the public.

wowing audiences with their high octane spectacle shows. Combining aerial performance, physical theatre
and special FX stalker have evolved from an extremely successful street improve troupe working on stilts.
Now based out of Melbourne, Gleem are thrilled to be able to offer a show of this calibre to the public... for free!
