The popular 'Summer on the Lawn' concert series at Nathan Homestead makes a welcome return. Concerts are held every Sunday in February. Pack a picnic basket, bring a blanket and sit back and enjoy an afternoon of easy-listening music in the homestead's beautiful grounds.

Manukau's residents are invited to attend the tenth Waitangi Day Family Celebrations on 6 February. Held in partnership with Toi O Manukau Trust, the celebrations are a wonderful opportunity for Manukau's many ethnic groups to get together and celebrate in the true spirit of harmony. Enjoy a multi-cultural musical celebration showcasing the diversity and talent of our people.

Exhibition dates for Nathan Homestead, Mangere Arts Centre and Fresh Gallery Otara from January through to June 2007 are also featured. A feature of the exhibitions schedule is the inclusion of local emerging and professional artists.
