LIMA Productons wowed us in the beginning of the year with their fabulous site specific 'Mixed Nuts' show at the Mangere Arts Centre, as a part of Auckland Fringe Festival( i.e.NZ Theatreview), now they are set to take us on a bigger and wilder adventure through the Auckland Botanic Gardens, Manurewa.

The Gardens are a beautiful oasis of a secret in the middle of south Auckland that not many Aucklanders know about.It's an experience well worth the drive especially for those with children, as they can be let loose to explore, run and tumble. The wild and wacky LIMA Productions have created an innovative, raw and funny fresh show set amongst the wild, tamed and absolutely beautiful array of plant life, fauna and scupltures at the gardens.

The adventure will be filled with exciting performances by an array of local talent, Auckland based emerging Pacific Performing Artists. From the lost fairy Frangipani, to the cheeky ELVES, that will guide you safely through the kingdom of SouthSide, to Hip-Hopping Monkeys; scary Taniwha Warriors; Fijian singing Sirens; Comic Tongan mice; Vogueing Samoan Lupe's (pigeons); the Witch and her Henchmen and of course the sly Wolf.  It's a day to play dress up with the kids, as there are spot costume prizes, and/ or drag the teenagers out of bed as no matter what the age this is a show for the whole family even you parents will have a laugh.
