Ermehn will be the first to tell you he has a big mouth. He tends to let it run away with him. "I'm sick of all the kid-hop in New Zealand," he spouts, which might seem rather critical for someone just breaking out from the hip-hop underground. But the South Auckland he knows is not represented by the "fantasy" music he's being scathing about. It's a place of poverty, violence and crime. His new album, The Path of Blood, is about "walking the walk and talking the talk".
