Following on from a highly successful New Zealand tour, Douglas Wright's Black Milk has been invited to appear in Australia at the Sydney Opera House. Producer Greg Clarke says he is thrilled to present this remarkable work as one of the highlights of their prestigious Winter Dance Season - "Black Milk is powerful, humorous and yet deadly serious dance theatre...."

The New Zealand cast will perform Black Milk in the Drama Theatre at the Sydney Opera House for performances from 20-29 July.

Producer for the Douglas Wright Dance Company, Fenn Gordon, said there has also been interest from Festival Directors in Germany and Belgium - "Black Milk is a world class work, and the international interest just reinforces how lucky we are to have a highly original choreographer of Douglas Wright's calibre working here in New Zealand."
