Maori, African, Chinese and Scottish cultures will have a chance to showcase their techniques at The Auckland Performing Arts Centre in Western Springs.The Te Wanaga o Aotearoa Maori performing arts students will showcase New Zealand's indigenous culture.

One of the oldest Highland dances, the Ghillie Callum (The Sword Dance) will be exhibited as Rachel Bates, a senior pupil in Highland and National Dancing, performs with the accompaniment of bagpipes by Robert Halliday.

Bollywood dance tutor Monisha Kumar will display both a classical Indian dance style and the hip Bollywood style in the showcase.

Yu- Fen Wang, an award winner and one of the most talked about performances at last year's Tempo º, returns this year with a solo dance routine from the Chin Dynasty which is traditionally performed for the royal family.
