As citizens of New Zealand we hold our prehistoric, slow-to-evolve reptiles on an archaic pedestal. We accommodate their eccentric lifestyles on luxurious, predator free islands, while back on the mainland our cities are on the brink of an invasion by a population of carnivorous land snails.Come one, come all to this Ferocious Fringe exhibition. We accommodate their eccentric lifestyles on luxurious, predator free islands, while back on the mainland our cities are on the brink of an invasion by a population of carnivorous land snails.And don't forget our oceans have been stirring up international media attention with such headlines as "Colossal Squid threatens New Zealand fishing fleet", and "Crazed dolphin attacks innocent tourists".

These are merely a few of the tumultuous issues being addressed by a talented array of artists from Wellington and further a-field.
