CollaboratioNZ was established as a charitable trust in 1998 with the main aim of organising a biennial conference to promote multi-media collaboration, exploration and networking.
With assistance from Creative NZ our event in 2001 was a great success with 70 artists from NZ, Aust, US and Canada taking part in a one week, live-in, no holds barred feast of creativity. With assistance from Creative NZ our event in 2001 was a great success with 70 artists from NZ, Aust, US and Canada taking part in a one week, live-in, no holds barred feast of creativity.Registrations are now open for our next event which will take place at McGregors Bay, Whangarei Heads from the 8th - 16th March 2003.

We already have 40 invited resource artists lined up for this event including David Trubridge (NZ, Design, Furniture), Gary Nash (NZ, Hot Glass), Rudi van der Pol (NZ, Multi-Media), Rolly Munro (NZ, Woodturner/Sculpture), Catrina Sutter (NZ, Fibre), Mathew Harding (Aust, Multi-Media), Richard Notkin (US, Ceramics), Brian Russell (US, Sculpture/Furniture), Michael Hosaluk (Canada, Woodturning/Furniture), Michael Cullen (US, Furniture), Michael Lee (Hawaii, Woodturning/Carving). We will also have resorce artists in Stone Carving, Bone/Jade Carving, Jewellery, Cast Glass, Metal/Forged Steel, Painting, Neon Sculpture, Upholstery, 2/3D Paper and much more.

This conference is open to any rtist/craftsperson to register and take part, but limited to the first 30 registrations.
