The annual 'V' 24Hour Movie Marathon is the movie event of the year for diehard film fiends. Held at Auckland's Hollywood Cinema on 29 September, this celebration of wild and wicked celluloid runs non-stop for 24 hours - and only 250 tickets are available. As always, the lineup of films is a secret, though apparently this year's selection is "guaranteed to blow impressionable minds forever", with sneak premieres of Hollywood blockbusters, nail-biting horrors, European gangsters, cheesy monsters and more.
