Fresh from the glittery success of both her first TV2 International LAUGH! Festival show, Dirty Pink, and victorious tour of North America in July, comes Penny Ashton, aka The Hot Pink Poet. You can't keep a bad girl down for long so September will see her welcome return for a special invitation repeat season of Dirty Pink at the Classic Comedy and Bar. Come and see her TV2 Billy T Award nominated show as she once again paints on the sparkles and slips on the fishnets and shakes her booty in a show that puts the "Oh!" into poetry and the "Ahhhh" into alliteration.

From dirty talk, to Russian Brides, to lickable lipstick to Man Breasts, Dirty Pink covers all aspects of an urban single girls existence that are just ripe for the squeezing. Combine this with a lavish setting, pink flamingoes and the odd pink feather boa, and voila... it's a naughty night of pink poetry you won't want to miss!

2002 Best Female Comedienne nominee Penny Ashton has been performing since before she could walk. Her mother knew she was in for trouble from the moment Penny ate her first lipstick, pulled on her first tutu and declared herself a ballerina. That promising career had to be abandoned however due to her pesky need to eat, and so Penny changed tack to being an actor, voice over artist, improviser and poet. She has recently returned from the USA and Canada where she wowed audiences at comedy, poetry and theatresports gigs and was a member of the New Zealand team which was victorious at the International Improvaganza Theatresports Tournament in Edmonton, Canada.
