Project shown* in association with The Door is seeking short video pieces to screen at Blender 30th January 2004. Blender is a one night screening for emerging and experimental moving image artists.This one hour screening will be followed by a soundscape lounge and other aural and visual blended delights.
Project shown* is a not-for-profit group that provides a forum and screening opportunities to moving image artists.
The Door is a multi-purpose venue in Lyttleton, it has a large loungey theater space at the rear with a yummy cafe in the front.

BLENDER SUBMISSION
This can be made any time but must reach us by the 18th of January 04.
Take a video piece that you have prepared earlier, (VSH, mini DV or DVD, and under 15munites long)
Get a Self addressed postage paid package
Fill in a submission form that is attached or down load one from
www.projectshown.org.nz
Place all three into a package (we subject a track pack) Address it to
Blender
The Door Cafe

Lyttelton
Christchurch.
Then send.
Wait 3-5 days
HUMMUS
Pour 3 cups of boiling water over 1 cup of chickpeas,
Leave to stand for one hour then boil till tender.
Drain.
Put cooked peas in a blender
with the juice of 2 lemons, 3 cloves of garlic, 1tsp of salt, 3 Tbsp of
tahini, 1/2 cup of water, and ¼ cup of oil.
Whiz the mixture until it is smooth (stopping the blender and pushing down
the mixture a few times)
Ad more oil and seasonings if you desire, and serve heaped in a dish
