A compendium show of work by design-school graduates is a one-stop shop of what's new. Getting to see all the end-of-year graduate shows of local design schools takes commitment. Best in Show, at Auckland's Objectspace, - aims to rectify that by bringing together the best works from all the exhibitions. Although it sounds an excellent idea, last year's version of Best in Show was a scattered, directionless affair. This wasn't due to weaknesses in individual works but to a complex selection process.
