Anna Cameron has been appointed as General Manager of the Cuba St Carnival team. Anna has been working as the Manager of Education and Public Programmes at City Gallery, Wellington. Prior to that she was Assistant Director of the British Council NZ, and is a previous Director of Playmarket. She is also a board member of BATS Theatre. She is also a board member of BATS Theatre.The Cuba St Carnival - New Zealand's largest street festival - transforms inner city Wellington with music, art installations, roving performers, fabulous food, artisan markets and unique kid entertainment. The highlight is the spectacular Illuminated Night Parade with fantastic floats, astounding performers, dancers, music, and many strange and memorable sights. The 2009 Cuba St Carnival will be extra special as it is the event's tenth anniversary.
