The writers' competition is aimed at promoting and developing new and exciting one-act plays from across Aotearoa. Entrants are free to write about any issue or topic that they choose, in the theatrical style that fits. Entrants are free to write about any issue or topic that they choose, in the theatrical style that fits.Over 40 plays were submitted, nine were chosen for the public readings, and the three winning plays will be performed together each night for two weeks.
