It's all systems go - The third Dunedin Fringe Festival, which runs from 24 September to 3 October 2004, will take the city of Dunedin by storm creating a massive arts extravaganza for artists and audiences. Artists of all persuasions are encouraged to start planning their contribution now.
The ten-day Festival is the only Fringe Festival in the South Island of New Zealand. Over 12,000 people attended Fringe events at the 2002 Festival which featured 100 events by more than 500 artists from throughout the country as well as a handful of international artists.

ARTISTS ENCOURAGED TO PREPARE FOR FRINGE SEASON
The Dunedin Fringe is a fantastic opportunity for artists from outside Dunedin to showcase their work to a wider audience within a supportive and professional festival programme.

The Dunedin Fringe is looking for original and experimental work from all art disciplines, including work that crosses traditional boundaries and defies categorization. This is an open-access festival in the tradition of Fringe Festival's around the world. That means you can definitely be part of the action.
