A lesser known fact though is that Kylee Davis and Steve Hodge (founding partner of Illicit) created Sweet Child of Mine to provide internships in the creative & design industries for artistic and at risk youths who would not normally get the opportunity to study in the arts field.

On Saturday 15th of October, Insidious FIX will be hosting 'A 10YR FIX' at 'The Studio' on K' Rd in Auckland. On Saturday 15th of October, Insidious FIX will be hosting 'A 10YR FIX' at 'The Studio' on K' Rd in Auckland.The party will showcase some of New Zealand's hottest, homegrown talents with live entertainment from Del Ray System followed by dDub, Kora, Opensouls and Recloose kicking off around 9.30 and expected to finish around 4.00am.
It is a rare opportunity to see these four bands perform at the same venue in one night.

The Event will also double as a platform to launch the "The Sweet Child of Mine" Trust, the collaboration between "street-savvy" heavy weights, Insidious FIX and Illicit. Kylee Davis and Steve Hodge (founding partner of Illicit) aligned belief's and business philosophy inspired the duo to create "Sweet Child of Mine" to provide internships in the creative & design industries for artistic and at risk youths who would not normally get the opportunity to study in the arts field.

Between the bands sets, one of the big draws is expected to be revered graffiti artist, Misery, who will be "bombing" a Mini Cooper on the street for a prize draw to raise awareness and funds for the Trust. The winner can expect to receive the use of the Mini for a getaway-weekend at a surprise location, along with clothing from Insidious FIX and Illicit, champagne from Deutz and CD's supplied from Loop Media Ltd.

Courtesy of Nektar Films, video screens around the venue will be showing the live action, integrated visual projections and short New Zealand films from award winning director, Mike Travis, Loop Distribution and top picks from the 48hr Film Festival.

"We've been through the tough times in order to make it this far, but it is part of the development process of any aspiring business, says Davis, "This is our way of giving something back to our most loyal supporters whilst showcasing the explosion of creative talent New Zealand has to offer."

To celebrate in true Kiwi style, it takes a savvy organization like Insidious FIX to bring together the hippest of New Zealand cultural best.
